About this course

About this course

God is a God of order. He is not the author of confusion, and His order is seen throughout all Scripture, from Moses, to Christ, to the New Testament Church. In the words of the course description, readers learn "what Apostolic Order is, how the Holy Spirit works ministry through the Body of Christ, and how God's pattern of leadership runs from Moses to Christ."

Apostle Mary Banks teaches that Apostolic Order is not a system of status, control, or human prominence. It is God's divine arrangement for His Body. If God is a God of order, then understanding how He governs His Church is not optional; it is essential to walking in alignment with His purpose. This course is not merely academic. It is a call to alignment: to recognize Christ as the Head, to honor God's order, and to embrace your measure in the Body of Christ.

What you will study

  • Chapter 1: Learning Resources. The recommended study tools, the Bible Teacher App and the Mary Banks Faith Library, the purpose of the course, and the posture that brings the greatest benefit.
  • Chapter 2: A Word from the Apostle. A call to alignment: why the Church must return to God's order rather than building by tradition, denomination, and the wisdom of men.
  • Chapter 3: What Is Apostolic Order? The scriptural meaning of order, apostle, and Apostolic Order, and how God gifts and sets each member in the Body as it pleases Him.
  • Chapter 4: The Holy Spirit and Ministry. Pentecost as the pattern for ministry, prophesying beyond prediction, the Ministry of Reconciliation, the believer's measure, and the five-fold ministry as service, not status.
  • Chapter 5: Working Ministry as a Body. How diversities of gifts, administrations, and operations reveal the unity of the Spirit, and how spiritual understanding destroys division, comparison, and competition.
  • Chapter 6: The Pattern of Leadership: From Moses to Christ. Jethro's counsel, the seventy elders, the impartation of the anointing, and Moses as a shadow of Christ and His Church.

Who this course is for

This course is for every believer who desires to understand how God governs His Church and to find his or her place in the Body of Christ: ministers and leaders, those preparing for ministry, and every member who wants to serve in unity and alignment with God's divine order. Come with a teachable spirit. Personal experience, tradition, and opinion must be weighed against the Word of God, for Scripture is the final authority.

How you will be assessed

  • Chapter quizzes: 60% of your final grade.
  • Final exam: 40% of your final grade, drawing on every chapter.
  • Passing grade: 70% or higher.

Each chapter also includes main points and a self-evaluation to help you examine how you are applying the teaching to your own life. Approach your study prayerfully, journal what the Holy Spirit reveals, and participate actively, so that this course brings transformation and not mere information.
