About this course
About this course
The Thought War I: Freedom from Negative Mindsets is the first course in Apostle Mary Banks' Mind of Christ Series. Every believer is engaged in a war fought on the battlefield of the mind. This course lays the scriptural foundation for winning that war by answering a question most of us have never examined: where do thoughts actually come from?
Beginning with the difference between the brain and the mind, you will learn from scripture that thinking originates in the heart, the capital of the soul, and that God has set clear boundaries for the thought life of His sons (Philippians 4:8). You will then study how mindsets are made: how direct and indirect experiences shape our thought patterns, and why the only mindset lawful for a son of God is the mind of Christ. The final two chapters apply this teaching to the most common stronghold of negative thinking, offenses and unforgiveness, and show, step by step, how roots of bitterness are purged from the heart by love.
Who this course is for
This course is for every born-again believer who desires freedom from negative thought patterns, fear, offense, and unforgiveness, and who is willing to examine his or her own heart honestly before God. It is foundational preparation for the further courses of the Mind of Christ Series.
