About this course
About this course
The Truth About Salvation I: The Plan of Salvation is a deep Bible course tracing humanity's fall, the mystery of iniquity, and Jesus as the perfect sacrifice in God's plan of salvation.
This course begins where the trouble began: in the garden, where the serpent conspired with the devil and the seed of Satan entered the makeup of man and was passed down to every generation. From there you will follow the argument of scripture through the captivity of mankind under the law of sin and death, the hidden working of the spirit of iniquity, and the eternal wisdom of God who had already purposed to save. It closes at the cross, where Jesus, the Kinsman Redeemer and the sinless Son of God, became the one sacrifice that could permanently remove sin.
What this course covers
- Chapter 1: The Fallen Man The seed of the serpent, the entrance of the spirit of iniquity into humanity, the war between the soul and the spirit of iniquity for control of the flesh, and the law of sin and death.
- Chapter 2: The Mystery of Iniquity What iniquity is, how Satan works evil while hiding his involvement, how unrighteousness deceives, and why God gave the law of righteousness.
- Chapter 3: Jesus, the Holy One God's desire for a family, the Seed of the Woman as God's hidden plan, the spiritual makeup of Jesus compared with Adam, and Jesus as the life-giving Spirit.
- Chapter 4: Jesus, the Perfect Sacrifice The role and limitations of animal sacrifices, Jesus as Kinsman Redeemer, the Son of Man fit for sacrifice, and living in gratitude for Christ's sacrifice.
